While these are not directly organized by the university, they offer high school students a chance to experience the campus and various facilities firsthand. We expect that participants will be able to manage their own time effectively in the safe environment provided for them as part of the BC Experience. Duke Pre-College Programs offer courses from across the curriculum with schedules that meet the needs of students and their families: from month-long online courses throughout the traditional high school year to one and two-week residential, hybrid, and online summer courses. There are numerous Princeton summer programs for high school students hosted on Princeton University’s campus. As such, while the program is committed to providing students a variety of optional social and cultural activities in addition to robust academic programming, we do not schedule the students’ every moment. Voted one of the countrys best summer programs for pre-college students by College Consensus. The program aims to give students the chance to experience life as a college student. Since 2003, this program has helped students in our community to build strong reading skills and develop a deep love of books and reading.
Students will participate in service-learning activities, cultural and social outings all while enjoying the beautiful city of Boston over the summer. Built into the programs are activities that help to prepare students for their college search and the transition into college life. Through adherence to our Jesuit mission, our programs focus on exposing students to a rich and rewarding college experience through coursework, extracurricular activities and reflection. This summer, live like a RISD student and work alongside hundreds of other creative, highly motivated students who will inspire you to push your limits and produce your best work. The Boston College Experience provides motivated high school students the opportunity to live and learn as students at Boston College.
